Our Dogs :)
Oh my goodness..I have been so unbelievablely busy! Surprisingly, I actually have a reason for posting on my blog :) We got rid of our dogs! We are all pretty bummed about it. Many of you, know our dogs pretty well, and know that our family is obsessed with them...and you probably remember being at our house, being a little grossed out when I'm rolling on the floor playing with them :) We have had Teddy for about 4 years (we got him when he was three) and we have had Jewels for about 6 years. They have been absolute fantastic dogs for our family. We could not have asked for better dogs! So now you are probably asking, 'why'd you get rid of them?!' .....and that I have an answer for! They had absolute terrible fleas. I mean terrible! Like we tried absolutely everything to get rid of them...but the problem was, they were in our house and backyard..so even if we got all of them off of the dogs..they would just go outside and get them back on them. And also, we heard from the vet that every flea you find, there are 500 eggs. And we found like 5 a day :) And that really grosses me out that we probably have over 2000 eggs in our house and on the dogs...gross!! Anyway...it was just getting to the extreme where Teddy would bark all day because the fleas bothered him (we often called him our "Big Baby") so much. And Jewels itched so much, that she was loosing a lot of hair :( So, we found wonderful homes for both of them. Anyway, sorry that was probably depressing! They are doing great, and we talk with their new owners every once in a while and the owners are just absolutely loving them! And I am 100% positive that God works out everything for the best. Anyway, have a great day..and enjoy the pics!

Awww!!! That is always so hard, giving up a pet. My dog just had to be put down (she was 14 or 15) we had her since she was born. But that's nice you get to keep in touch with the new owners. Maybe y'all can visit them sometime. Well, it will all work out for the best.
God Bless.

I am so sorry about your dog! I can't even imagine raising a dog until it was 14 or 15 and having to have it put down. I mean, we had Jewels for 6 years and I felt like she was my sister! But, surprisingly, we are doing great without having them around.
